Rasnov Citadel

Rasnov Citadel is an old peasant Citadel in the town of Rasnov (Brasov County). It is one of the best preserved peasant Citadeles in Transylvania and was built in the 13th-14th centuries by the inhabitants of the settlement with the same name, with the main purpose of defending against the attacks of the Tatars.

Dino Parc

Dino Park is the only dinosaur theme park in Romania and the largest in South-Eastern Europe. There are 47 dinosaurs in natural size, each certified scientifically and made after the latest paleontological discoveries. They are really special because they are made of glass fiber and a special type of resin, with a 50 year warranty. A special place on an area of ​​1.5 hectares, in a natural environment that offers children, and not only, a unique experience.

Visiting rate: children <3 years for free; 3-14 years – 22 lei / person, adults – 28 lei / person, discount for pensioners and students 20% (based on the student card or pension coupon)

Valea Cetatii Cave

 At a distance of only 1.5 Km from RASOV and 7.5 Km from Poiana Brasov, Valea Cetatii Cave (located in the natural reserve of the same name) is an exceptional tourist attraction located two steps away from the Rasnov Citadel. The tiles that mirror enigmatic shapes perfectly modeled by water and air surround an imposing hall of the Cathedral, which, with over 30,000 cubic meters of its own, opens to the eye a voluminous story ceiling with white limestone arches as rarely seen in the world. 

Fitted with the latest technology, the cave offers a journey and illumination that also makes a claustrophobe look for the walls that surround it and feel in a crystal palace. The access is made from the parking on the national road Poiana Brasov – Rasnov after 450 meters of walking along the wooded carst of the Valea Cetatii natural reserve.

Summer: April 1 – September 30  Monday – Sunday 10: 00-20:00
